Cerca de la bahia de San Antoni, un poco hacia el sur, nos encontramos con el Islote de Espallaret, donde podemos disfrutar de una inmersión alrededor de uno de los riscos llena de vida y con un «pecio» un tanto especial: Una moto vespa, ya casi totalmente  fundida con el entorno de esponjas y roca, y que nadie sabe como llegó hasta allí dada la distancia que separa el islote de la costa.

La inmersión en Es Pallaret se lleva a cabo rodeando un islote o risco, bajando en un primer momento hasta la cota máxima de la inmersión, a nuestra elección entre los 25 y los 35 metros de profundidad, para luego ir subiendo gradualmente poco a poco y dejando el risco a nuestra izquierda. El fondo que rodea al risco, mixto de arena y roca, no despierta especial interés por lo que no hace falta que pasemos tiempo de fondo inspeccionandolo, lo que no quiere decir que no le echemos un ojo de vez en cuando por lo que puediera aparecer.

Si comenzamos la inmersión en el lado Sur Oeste, encontraremos rápidamente un repecho a unos 12 metros donde podremos asentarnos unos momentos para reajustar el equipo y reunir al grupo para a continuación seguir bajando por el veril hasta encontrar una moto Vespa a 23 metros, ya complentamente cubierta de incrustaciones loq ue indica que lleva ya hundida unos cuantos años. Aunque se desconoce como pudo llegar hasta allí, lo más probable es que cayera de algún yate (Determinados yates cuentan en ocasiones motos de servicio para transporte terrestre por lo poco que ocupan, y en caso de los mega yates, hasta coches) y allí quedó.

En el camino no dejemos de observar las rocas, pues allí ví el mayor nudibránquio que he visto en mi vida, de entre 12 y 15 cm, un espectáculo en sí mismo.

Llegados a la moto, no tenemos más que ir rodeando el islote subiendo poco a poco y admirando el paisaje. Las rocas albergan gran cantidad de vida, pudiendo encontrar morenas, nudibránquios, escórporas y gran cantidad de peces de roca, pero el azul es un espectáculo: bancos de espetones se cruzan y mezclan con bancos de castañuelas, obladas, sargos y pequeñas sardinillas que relucen al nadar reflejando la luz del sol. El espectáculo en 20 metros es increible, y no puedes dejar de mirar.

La inmersión no reviste ninguna dificultad y es apta para todos lo niveles. Podemos encontrar corriente de leve a moderada, lo que podría obligarnos a modificar el sentido del recorrido, pero el rumbo a seguir sería el mismo, con la única precaución de controlar la profundidad ya que el fondo de arena lo encontramos a unos 40 metros, y una profundidad excesiva podría acortar una inmersión que merece ser disfrutada.
