Buceo en Canarias: El muelle de Sardina
Sardina es uno de las inmersiones favoritas de los buceadores autóctonos de la Isla. El barrio marinero de Sardina se encuentra en el municipio de Galdar, al norte de la isla, a apenas media hora en coche desde Gran Canaria.
Hay sitio para aparcar comodamente y un amplio paseo marítimo donde podremos montar nuestro equipo de buceo tranquilamente sin estorbar el paso de los paseantes. Tras montar nuestro equipo en el paseo, nos dirigimos hacia las el muelle para comenzar la inmersion bajando comodamente por unas amplias escaleras de piedra (cuidado con los resbalones).
Sardina es una explosion de vida en un ambiente recogido y sencillo. Ninguna inmmersion superará los 20 metros y la profundidad media rondará los 12 metros, con escasa corriente o ninguna de manera habitual. Sin embargo, en esta inmmersión podremos ver jureles, medregales, abades (o falso mero), angelotes (tiburon de arena), mantelinas, chuchos, bancos de roncadores y espetones, pez flauta, aparte de las siempre presentes viejas, fulas, salemas y las especies propias de la costa canaria. Incluso si tenemos suerte y buen ojo, es relativamente sencillo encontrar caballitos de mar.

[box] Hay dos recorridos en Sardina, que pòdemos hacer en dos inmmersiones separadas o en una sola, dependiendo de nuestro consumo, aunque no deberíamos tener problemas debido a que la profundidad media de la inmersion será de unos 12 metros. Saliendo desde el muelle torcemos a la derecha donde nos encontraremos en unos metros con los restos de un pequeño faro y donde suele encontrarse un banco de unas 50 bigudas. Superado el faro seguiremos la ruta llegando a la punta del rompeolas, el cual seguiremos rodeando el mismo tomando siempre como referencia los bloques de cemento a nuestra derecha. Recorridos unos 70 metros realizaremos el recorrido a la inversa pero esta vez por el veril que veniamos dejando a nuestra izquierda, plagado de anguilas jardineras y donde mantendremos un ojo en el azul donde podremos ver pasar chuchos, tembladeras, angelotes, medregales, jureles y toda clase de vida. Esta es la parte mas profunda de la inmersion, unos 18 metros. Desde el veril realizaremos el recorrido inverso hasta quuegar al roquero que se encuentra hacia mar abierto entre el muelle y el rompeolas, donde podremos bichear a nuestro gusto y explorar hasta nos deje el aire a una profundida muy comoda, pues estaremos en estos momentos a unos 8 metros.
Con un poco de suerte, podremos hacer la parada de seguridad viendo a nuestro alrededor las evoluciones de un gran chucho negro que vive en las inmediaciones y al cual se le distingue perfectamente por su falta de rabo….[/box]

Por supuesto, lo que no puede faltar tras esta inmersion son las «decobirras». En este caso, mas facil, imposible. En el mismo muelle donde has bajado, tienes una terraza donde comentar la inmersion y ver las fotos, relajándose un rato. Dorada o Tropical, mojo verde o rojo….pero sin duda, el final perfecto para una inmersión increible y de las mejores de canarias en relación calidad/dificultad.
